Job Description
Bring your expertise in implementing various BI solutions and join our Data team where you'll own your career in a supportive and inclusive culture. As a Power BI Developer, you'll get to use your ability to efficiently convert raw data into meaningful insights through interactive and easy-to-understand dashboards and reports. This will be used as you partner with business partners and regulatory reporting teams to turn data into knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions. You'll develop key dashboards and insights for multiple stakeholders across Macquarie's businesses, for example the regulatory reporting platforms, while also being responsible for providing L3 support as well as enhancements for existing dashboards in production. You'll also get to take responsibility for design methodology and project documentation and suggest and guide development best practices, version control and deployment pipeline.
To be successful in this role you'll have 3-6 years of experience in implementing PBI solutions along with the following technical skills and experience:
- strong experience in Datawarehouse modelling techniques and SQL queries
- a good understanding of designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining Power BI report solutions
- ability to create KPIs, visualisations, reports and dashboards based on business requirement
- knowledge and experience in prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis
- be able to implement row level security on data and understand application security layer models in Power BI
- proficiency in making DAX queries in Power BI desktop.
- expertise in using advance level calculations on data sets
- experience in BFSI domain and stakeholder management.
It is also preferably that you have good understanding of Data Quality Principles, ideally in the financial sector.
