Job Purpose: ABFRL is India's pioneer in branded apparel with the widest portfolio across value fashion to lifestyle fashion to couture. This role is to shape the future of ABFRL's digital commerce portfolios with the best of UI UX design practices for a superior customer experience. We are looking for a UX Lead to join the team and start pulling towards a design-led product management approach. This is a leadership position in-charge of the common design team serving all ABFRL brands and the ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of UI UX design experience preferably in an ecommerce setting.
ABFRL has wide range of digital commerce platforms across websites, apps, kiosks & chatbots. These platforms are undergoing a transformation to provide a superior User Experience and drive digital commerce. While there is a design team is present, the lead UI UX Design will need to build and drive the design agenda.
The lead UI UX design needs to have the followings:
- Extreme user focus and a passion to simplify things for the user. Asking why across the journey to come up with best-in-class solutions
- Work with ABFRL brand teams & create brand-wise UX vision & design systems
- Identify gaps in UX, usability and UI for the existing platforms basis these guidelines
- Convert UX vision & gap assessment into UI specifications, wireframes and prototypes with consumer validation
- Act as primary customer custodian & continually improve the experience basis customer feedback
- Liasoning with the Product and business teams to drive and deliver these improvements
- Manage, mentor and grow a team of inhouse + outsourced UI/UX designers
- Manage relationships with external design agencies and contractors
Key Result Areas
Supporting Actions
Improve Existing Website & App Experience
- Immediately Identify gaps in UX and UI for the existing platforms
- Continually poll & listen to consumer feedback to identify gaps and design best-in-class user solutions
- Pull product team into a design led product management direction
- Liason with product & brand teams to deliver these solutions
- Measure experience through ABFRL's NPS score - Happiness Index
Increase existing platform conversion rate
- Identify gaps in usability that lead to drop-offs and fix these gaps to increase conversions
- Work with Product teams to launch AB tests to prove solutions and scale them up
Drive launch & scale up of new digital interfaces
- ABFRL is continually launching new digital solutions across chatbots, kiosks, store to door and more
- The UI UX Design Lead will be responsible for designing these interfaces leveraging best practices
- Work with product & brand teams to scale solutions, identify improvements and design
Redesign apps & websites
- Redesign brand apps & websites
- Run RFPs with leading design agencies, select the right partner and work on end to end design journey
- Relaunch these websites with Product & Brand teams
Qualifications:
Any Graduate,B.E/B.Tech

7-10 Years
