Department Overview

Product, Analytics & Modelling (PAM) teams support the International Group that delivers international banking solutions to Wholesale customers globally. PAM supports analytical requirements by delivering insights and analysis. Marketing Analytics & Research Services (MARS), is a multi-discipline analytical unit within the broader PAM, which caters research & analytical needs for the marketing & customer experience organizations.
About the Role

Analytics Consultant 3 (ANC3)role is an individual contributor role that supports Strategic Insights and Research India team within PAM with integrating of survey data & customer behavior data, and its subsequent reporting & analysis across Wells Fargo businesses - Wealth and Investment Management, Commercial Banking, Corporate and Investment Banking, Consumer and Small Business Banking and Consumer Lending.
Responsibilities

  • Works with market researchers to understand business requirements and analytical needs for integrating survey data with customer behavior data identifies and recommends potential data sources compiles and mines data from multiple, cross business sources

  • Leads the effort to set up a detailed process for integration of data across different sources and creates detailed documentation in accordance with business requirements for adoption and support

  • Draw insights on analyzed data and present the same in PowerPoint or any other equivalent reporting tool in a visually appealing manner

  • Run survey or transactional or integrated (survey + transactional) data cross-tabs using available tools - SPSS, SAS and any cross-tabbing tool (preferably Research Q)

  • Lead & provide support to the PMR team on application of various statistical, multi-variate analysis like Chaid, Cluster, Driver analysis etc.

  • Play a key role in leading efforts on automation, dashboarding and other initiatives to augment support towards efficiency gains

  • Work closely and independently with partners (internal clients) and senior management stakeholders

  • Lead, organize and participate in PAM/department-wide initiatives

  • Engage with cross culture team members and stakeholders

  • Ready to work across geographies (India and USA) and be available during evening/early night hours for overlap with our US partners

Market Skills and Certifications
Essential Skills

  • 6-8 years of Analytics experience.

  • Experience in analytical platforms: SAS, Teradata, Informatica/Abinitio, Python, Tableau, SPSS, Excel VBA, PowerBi

    • Strong experience in Tableau visualization. Proficient with creation of interactive dashboards using Tableau Desktop and server

    • Strong knowledge of analyzing unstructured data (customer transactional data, complaints etc.) and integrate it with structured data

  • Strong knowledge of marketing concepts, marketing lifecycle, marketing mix, role of campaign, programs, events and assets

  • Experience in data warehousing, business requirements development, ETL development, report development

  • Experience of working on statistical, multi-variate models and analysis

  • Highly analytical, deeply curious about data and how to make it actionable

  • Strong conceptual and quantitative problem solving skills, high attention to details and demonstrated ability to think creatively

  • Ability to deep dive on data issues, resolve to the fullest, challenge interpretation, cull insights and make recommendations on facts and logics

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and project management skills

  • Strong communication and writing skills with high proficiency in grammar and articulation of insights

Desired Skills

  • Sound knowledge of marketing frameworks

  • Exposure to Primary Market Research

  • Prior experience in financial products and services industry
