Need to visit international client regularly. Willing to participate in International Trade Fairs.
Target effective sourcing & negotiating contracts, establish sustainable long term supply channels with International retail chain, institutional customers, brokers, agencies etc in international markets.
Demand planning and forecasting customer needs and price advantages to maximize margins and volumes for agro-products. Remain close to customers, consumer/market trends and conduct market research for customer feedback to find value addition possibilities to existing product lines.
Benchmarking all sales against competitors and implementation of best practices throughout the enterprise. Knowledge of types of LC (Letter of Credit) with banks.
Proactively monitor and analyze competitor activities and market dynamics. Where appropriate recommend and adjust short term commercial objectives accordingly.
Adequate knowledge of related EXIM policy, regulatory laws, compliances, procedures and liaison with government bodies or institution related to exports /imports such as service tax, sales tax, excise matters, customs, certification agencies, etc.
Efficient risk management for activities such as purchase, sale, client orders, foreign exchange, business transactions, shipment, all related documentation, records, LCs, dealing with banks, payments, invoicing, etc. with all related follow up.
Create and foster an entrepreneurial spirit within the organization to build an innovative culture towards customer and new business development. Ensure high priority is given to customer focus and the commercial realization of BU projects according to predetermined time lines.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience prefer : 4 to 8 years
Evidence of extensive international travel for strong B2B marketing and sales competence. Consultative selling and developing multi-level client relationships ensuring client satisfaction. Independently handling and developing good buyers / customers / client base & network and be able to tap business opportunities / new emerging markets, bring orders and its further processing and execution under strict timelines.
Strong negotiation skills. Should be a deal closer.
Global Experience where appropriate.
Emerging Markets experience appreciated.
Market analytics . Affinity with supply chain functions.
