Job Description
Role: CTRM Business Analyst
Purpose of role
CTRM (Commodity Trading & Risk Management system) is an essential IT/Digital platform for our company to operate, expand the metals trading business and realize digital transformation. CTRM Business Analyst has the responsibility to review, analyze and evaluate business needs and document requirements, define scope and objectives of CTRM projects and operations. CTRM Business Analyst will work with business users as a key and influential member of their business planning teams to ensure a continuing delivery of outcomes through CTRM solution. With sufficient understanding of business strategy, CTRM Business Analyst will deliver a global CTRM platform across multiple metal products in order to fulfill our business goals.
Job responsibilities:
- Transform business needs into epic/user story and work with technical team to drive toward delivery.
- Part of a scrum team and he/she will lead the sprint planning session by providing business goals and priorities.
- Align immediate business needs to longer term strategy system roadmap by working closely cross workstreams.
- Partner closely with QA testers and developers to ensure quality deliverables.
- Forge strong working relationship with business stakeholders to handle their new requests, operation issues or queries.
Knowledge and experience:
- Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or appropriate field of study.
- Minimum 4 years of CTRM software experience required and has worked in commodity houses or banks that specializes in physical trading of metals and coal
- Minimum 4 years of business analyst experience required.
- Knowledge or working experience with CTRM vendors is preferred though not mandatory.
- Knowledge or working experience in scrum delivery team is required.
- Having human centred design or design thinking experience will be a plus.
