Job Description
Ruby on Rails - Technical Project Manager: 100% Remote role for USA based client.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage projects with top-down oversight throughout the entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline.
- Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.
- Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
- Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
- Write technical documentation including user stories, design, specifications, release plans, etc. and manage agile artifacts.
- Review proposed modifications on project plans, including meeting with interested parties to approve and implement beneficial changes.
- Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all subordinates are actively working toward established milestones.
- Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects.
- Work as a lead developer and assure quality deliverables by conducting code reviews, SCA, SecDevOps, code promotion, etc.
- Determine and define clear deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives.
- Recruit and train exceptional employees to fulfill posted positions within the technical department.
- Proposing technical solutions for various kinds of technical problems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues by demonstrating sense of urgency.
- Fixing bugs, writing code for some new features or enhancements.
- Excellent knowledge of Ruby on Rails and Javascript frameworks such as Angular, React, Ember, etc.
- Client/Customer management via Scrum call.
- Available on demand with passion to drive for any project work.
