IPeritus is hiring Research Analysts in their Fixed Income team in Mumbai to work on Asset Backed Securities issued in US and EMEA and also research on Indian Corporate Bonds.

IPeritus, a leader in Fixed Income Research, is looking for sharp, ambitious and enthusiastic Analysts to join our Structured Finance Desk to work with clients in the US, Europe and India.
With over 9000+ ABS Bonds researched, issued globally, IPeritus is a powerhouse in Fixed Income Research. Our weekly Fixed Income update, using data from PIXSTOX, our platform with 16,000+ Indian Bonds, is gaining immense popularity. Our research on AT1 Bonds, Stressed Issuers and other Fixed Income asset categories have been widely circulated. For the past 6+ years we have also been working with Moodys Analytics supporting their desks in US and UK for AS. Our ABS research includes Residential Mortgage Backed Securities, Auto ABS, Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities, Receivables Backed Securities, Small & Medium Business Loans backed Securities and the newer Esoteric Bonds. IPeritus has also been actively propagating Esoteric PTC structured in India. We have also been working with Merchant Bankers to support structuring and issuance of new Indian ABS, Municipal Bonds and Receivable Based Bonds.

As a Research Analyst in the Fixed Income Team of IPeritus, you will
1.Study the loans to be securitized and also the Financial Statements of the Issuer to understand existing liabilities, their structures and the credit risk
2.Read Bond Prospectus, for Asset Backed Securities, create a synopsis for quick research, manage all the data on deals, build the ABS structure in our proprietary MS Excel based templates, or our VisualModeler Platform or client platforms used for Cashflow modeling
3.For Corporate Bonds and Municipal Bonds, analyze the historical performance, simulate future cashflow and measure default possibilities and build notes on the Bond
4.Ensure the models accurately simulate the structures, cashflows correctly resemble the possible performances under various scenarios and the analytics provide true insights
5.Ensure all learnings, notes, rating rationales and experiences are captured and save on our internal Knowledge Management System
6.Interact with teams and clients for sharing models, reports, notes and insights
7.Report on performance to all people in the project
8.Over a 2+ year period, we would like you to become the resident expert on one or more asset categories including US Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities (RMBS), CMBS, Auto Loans, Esoteric, Student Loans, Receivables in EMEA and India.
To join Team IPeritus as a Research Analyst in Mumbai, you must have
1.Demonstratable knowledge of Fixed Income Securities
2.Understanding/Knowledge of cashflow modeling would be a big plus
3.A joining date by September 2021
4.Track record of high achievement
5.Excellent written and verbal communication skills
6.A previous experience/internship in Bond Research or a strong interest in the Fixed Income market
7.Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate learning at every stage
8.The ability and desire to work in as fast paced challenging environment

11.A highly self-driven sense of motivation
