What you will be doing
Will be responsible for the development and maintenance of data extraction, Transformation and Loading activities for FIS Data Management for solutions within Capital Markets leveraging Adeptia Tool [Universal tool identified for Capital Markets].
Adeptia ETL packages and Jobs could cover Financial data or functionality determining the Financial Risk Management typically for Banks and Financial Institutions.
What you bring:
- Participate in designing and developing the data extraction and Data Migration processes.
- Define and document business rules and Transformation logic required after fact u2013 finding and analysis of source systems required for FIS solutions.
- Able to understand and Translate the FIS solutions Data Models into data Specifications for identifying customeru2019s data appetite.
- Good understanding of database concepts.
- Participation in the design of the Transformation packages and deploy them in production.
- At least 120 months of experience in analysis / design / and development of ETL packages. Experience in a Technology consultancy or Technology for financial institution, ideally Risk related. Work experience on Financial applications will be added advantage with fair understanding on data elements.
- Requires a prior exposure to Data modeling, Database design and PLSQL. Conversant with writing Triggers, Stored Procedures, Functions, packages etc.
- Knowledge on ETL tools like Adeptia, SSIS, Informatica, Abinitio etc.
- Knowledge of SCD and CDC types (e.g. Master data management techniques).
- Strong Data Analysis Skills like ETL Mapping, SQL querying, Source to Target Mapping.
- Understanding of an enterprise level RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, Teradata, etcu2026).
- Experience and understanding of data Warehousing concepts and tools.
- Good understanding on deriving ETL strategies for Banking / Financial data model.
- Understanding of Legacy Systems, Mainframes, Excel and other Data sources.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent.
- Graduation with Specialization and certification in Data Management ETL Tools, BI etc.

- Excellent communicator u2013 ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion
- Attention to detail u2013 track record of authoring high quality documentation
- Organized approach u2013 manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements
- Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team
- Willing to travel occasionally (no more than 10%)
