Required skills
  • Strong understanding of data governance compliance, policies and issue management.
  • Knowledge of data quality management and models to implement data governance across business processes.
  • Experience implementing data governance process and procedures across business units with MDM principles and techniques
  • Experience in (Preferably Informatica) data governance approaches, practices, and processes
  • Experience in Data encryption with one or more of the database platforms: SQL, Informatica, Cloud.
  • Develops solutions (included high / low level technical designs, specification and technology evaluations) using firms approved methodologies
  • Ability to define and design data governance rules, data lineage, data processing and data quality rules and configure the same.
  • The incumbent must have expert knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, Microsoft Excel, MDM tools and the ability to understand and resolve data inconsistencies or variances.
  • A good understanding of back- end IT systems, master data and analytics platforms is a must.

Desirable Skills
  • 8+ year of work experience in the fields of Researching, Stewarding, Data management.
  • Expert in SAP master data integration
  • Experience in Data Modelling and Data Visualization
  • Experience in Visualization tools like Tableau etc
  • Knowledge of SQL, Cloud and Informatica
  • Advanced Excel skills (for reporting, reconciliation etc.)
  • Candidate must be hands-on data collection and analysis experience using SQL, Microsoft Access or Alteryx.
  • Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable
  • Ability to work within firm deadlines.

Education
  • A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science/ Engineering/ Science.
  • Experience with standard data entry systems, excellent computer skills including proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Outlook, standard analytic and reporting systems with some exposure to programming languages like SQL and tools like Excel etc.

Job Responsibility:
  • Manage and drive data quality and integrity through checks and validations, collate data quality issues, drive remediation and Manage reconciliation processes
  • Provides operational support in line with procedures and concepts, with supervisory responsibility for a team that executes activities
  • Has responsibility for the quality of the tasks the team performs and monitors the data quality
  • Provides on-going support to projects used within the organization.
  • Able to perform data stewardship and enrichment/enhancements
  • Ensures proper escalation, prioritization and remediation of data quality issues.
  • Communicates effectively using the relevant channel.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities to optimize the performance and efficiency of existing processes/procedures.
