About the Role :
Tax
Assist with preparing and filings US Sales and Use tax returns
Support other finance team on sales tax and use tax queries
Communicate with customers/vendor as and when required in order to resolve sales and Use tax queries
Assist with US property tax compliance
Assist with US Business licenses filings
Assist with transaction tax including business & occupation tax, gross receipts tax , CAT
Assist in responding and complying to Sales tax / Use tax / other notices.
Assist with Sales and Use tax audit / filing VDA
Assist with filing application for US state registrations
Assist with reviewing and posting tax accrual on a monthly basis and preparing account reconciliation
Support in coordinating with the tax accounting team to ensure efficient integration of the tax accounting and international tax compliance processes.
Assist with other projects as necessary
Required Knowledge, Skills:
Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
AvaTax, CerCapture and NetSuite experience is desirable
Self-initiate research and is resourceful in their approach to resolve any issues irrespective of subject matter knowledge
Proficient understanding of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Powerpoint and ability to create models, as needed, that reflect this depth of understanding
Analytical skills with good attention to detail, motivation and confidence to independently address issues.
Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to co-ordinate & interact with internal and external stakeholders
What You'll Need:
Masters in Tax or Accounting, B.Com/ BBA,
7+ year of total experience and 4+ years of relevant experience in US Taxation
