As a Lead HW Lab support Engineer you ll be responsible for Helping to sustain the RD Lab with compliance to High safety and security standards, Have ownership in Designing, Diagnosing, Debugging and Developing Product Hardware that help Signify Innovation RD Lab .

Lead and Guide the HW lab support team

Design, Develop, Debug and Diagnose Product Hardware (Electrical and Electronic components related to connected Lighting)

Help in Installation and commissioning of Hardware products

Take full ownership on the Safety and Security of the Lab to adhere to the highest compliance standards

Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure Lab activities are sustained

- Ability to guide/mentor a team of HW lab support engineers
- Diploma/ITI certification on Electrical, Electronics as major
- Class 1 Electrical Contractor License
- Electrical wire man License
- Minimum 5 years of working experience with Hands-on soldering skills and maintaining/ working in a hardware lab.
- Knowledge on using Windows 10.
- Working Knowledge on RF
- Knowledge on using MS-Office. Presentation skills
- Knowledge on using net surfing finding vendors, component sourcing etc.
- Minimum knowledge on Mentor graphic PCB design.
- Good understanding on Circuits and Signal flows
- Signal level testing debugging of logic cards, testing, soldering support validation.
- Knowledge on all Electrical, Mechanical and Electronics Components
- Knowledge on different type of electronic components packages, cables connectors
- Hands-on Experience in PTH Soldering and De-soldering, Debugging Hardware.
- Hands-on Experience in SMD / TQFP / QFN Soldering and De-soldering, PCB Assembly.
- Basic knowledge on PCB design - Mentor Graphics
- Knowledge on preparing Jigs and fixers.
- Knowledge on preparing the Electrical Racks, preparing the wiring diagram,
- Knowledge on preparing the test setups to support all projects in the electrical lab and lighting lab.
- Knowledge on the single phase, three phase electrical wiring, home and office wiring, UPS
- Knowledge on different lighting drivers and Lumineers.
- Knowledge on documentation, report preparation. TEST report, Evaluation report..etc
