About the team
This position is responsible for the day-to-day, business-as-usual, support of the Unix server environments. This includes the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the Unix environments.
What you will be doing
- Work with internal support functions and onsite teams in resolving / preventing issues / escalations
- Should be supporting in US Business Hour
- Mentor staff to ensure all duties are performed in an accurate and timely manner.
- Plans and maintains efficient operations by designing, implementing and evaluating level one operations process.
What you bring:
Experience: 8-10 years
Job Locatiion: Indore
Good understanding of Software Development Life cycles
Good understanding of client/server topology
A proven track record in delivering work to schedule and specification
Degree level education (in related subject of computing, maths, science, engineering) or equivalent
Experience with application monitoring (Splunk, CheckMK) whether it be COTS or in-house developed processes
Experience/knowledge in Release Management - Jenkins, Ansible, Git, Application deployment methods in general
Knowledge on Tooling experience- ServiceNow/ Remedy and Process experience- Incident management, Change management, Problem management
Added bonus if candidate have:
Experience of Internet applications and/or the FinTech industry
Knowledge of Networking, Firewalls, F5 load balancers and F5 global traffic managers
ITIL Service Management certifications
Experience of Cloud based technology (i.e. AWS, Azure) minimum novice proficiency
Basic scripting commands u2013 Bash, Perl/Python experience may be helpful in some instances
Source code control
Experience of card processing security
Middleware experience / exposure - Weblogic, OHS, Coherance
