VINIRMA Consulting is currently looking for Sr. IT Service Desk Engineer for one of its clients which is a Business Consulting, IT Solutions and Services Company in Qatar with the following and terms and conditions.
Professional experience:
Minimum 6 years experience in managing critical Microsoft environment
Working knowledge of IT Service Desk operations & SCCM administration.
Working knowledge of event, incident & problem management processes and tools.
Familiar with working on Windows operating systems environment and a keen interest in networking.
Must be able to demonstrate a customer first approach to support
The ability to liaise and communicate confidently and professionally with customer representatives at all levels.
Natural aptitude for trouble shooting & problem solving.
Have solid experience in a helpdesk or technical support environment.
Highly organized and able to work on own initiative to complete the range of tasks required.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
SCCM Administrator & service management
Solid hands on Experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager with 6 to 8 years experience, Experience with the current branch desirable.
Solid hands on Microsoft Windows Desktop Management using SCCM
Expert in System Center and assisting other Administrators as required on a daily or timely basis.
Administer and support SCCM system center configuration manager and its features remote control, patch management, operating system deployment, network protection and other various services
Experience in application deployment - Operating System Patching Client and Server - Application Patching - Knowledge of the Windows registry, interaction of drivers within the OS
Deployment, installation and administration of Microsoft Office products - Functional working and basic debugging knowledge of Microsoft Windows
Experience in the administration and configuration of SCCM 2012/later version and Current Branch Enterprise environment
Experience managing an OS image and task sequences
Regularly performs the monthly patching of server systems which is part of the maintenance activity using System Center Configuration Manager
Advanced PowerShell scripting
Service desk End User support
Dealing with incoming faults in a professional, courteous manner over the phone ,via email & On site.
Taking ownership of faults and managing them in a logical and methodical manner.
Correctly logging incidents and faults, categorizing and prioritizing them in line with team procedures.
Conducting full and through diagnostics with end users to enable first point of contact fault resolution.
Ensuring all faults are progressed & cleared within SLA escalating to other internal and external teams as appropriate.
Managing faults through their entire lifecycle from the first point of contact through to resolution, proactively keeping the customer informed of progress.
Diagnosing and resolving problems to the customers satisfaction
Maintain and develop own knowledge and skills to assist with first time fault resolution.
Identify and escalate repeat issues or service risks into service management teams.
Sharing knowledge with team colleagues.
Manage a number of scheduled tasks for customers, designed to ensure that the customers systems remain operational
Education & Quilifications
University Degree (IT)
At least 6 years or above relevant IT related experience.
Has a Windows OS and Microsoft Applications support experience or background (MCP equivalent).
Has a Windows Administration support experience (MCSA equivalent)
Has a Citrix support experience or background on Thin-Client implementation.
Has a SCCM administration & support experience is a must.
Has a good communication skills and customer oriented individual.
ITIL certification
Team player, flexible on work shift timing schedule.
Willing to work on demanding environment with minimal supervision
Language
English Fluently Oral & Written
Arabic Speaking added as an advantage
