The Hedge Fund Financial Reporting Analyst/Senior will:
. Prepare and review Fund's annual and quarterly financial statements to clients, auditors and investors.
. Assist in the audit coordination of the clients annual reporting process.
. Provide clients and auditors with appropriate supporting documentation for annual statements.
. Prepare certain required SEC filings.
. Participate in audit update calls.
. Ensure 100% of evidence of review when preparing statements.
Undertake any other financial reporting responsibilities assigned
Qualifications:
. Minimum of 2 years in the financial services industry and 1 year in the hedge fund industry
. Bachelor degree required, degree preference is Finance, Accounting or Economics (3.2 or higher GPA), CPA is a plus
. Strong technical knowledge of accounting and financial reporting
. Professional and proactive approach to work, problem solver
. Leadership & motivation
. The ability to manage change and deliver results
. Strong communication skills - both verbal and written
. Strong analytical skills
. Excellent interpersonal skills
. Strong client service orientation
. Strong organizational skills, concerns for quality & accuracy and working to strict deadlines
. Ability to consistently perform at a high level
. Strong computer skills, in particular Excel and Word
. Attention to detail
. Ability to work independently and as a key member of a group
