Primary Responsibilities
. Manage and manipulate multiple large data sets, including: defining populations and variables, performing calculations and summarizations, and creating solutions to address client business questions
. Prepare complex analytic deliverables, combining multiple programming outputs to create cohesive reports
. Acquire a strong understanding of research topics and a thorough knowledge of the data and programming efforts involved
. Synthe business questions, translate from concept to code, in order to produce client deliverables
. Help design analytic data set specifications: synthe business questions, translate from concept to code, in order to produce client deliverables, Lead in delivery of analytic projects
. Introduce new methodologies and efficiencies to increase productivity
. Contribute to the definition and development of key findings and marketing-oriented conclusions
Qualifications/Experience
. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, STEM field or related with 2-3 years of relevant experience
. In depth familiarity of SAS, SQL (Oracle and SQL Server)
. Familiarity with Big data technology and its application.
. Understanding of complex data flows, identification of data processing bottlenecks and designing and implementing solutions.
. A broad set of technical skills and knowledge across hardware, software, systems and solutions development and across more than one technical domain.
. Proven ability to balance and manage multiple, competing priorities.
. Collaborative interpersonal skills and ability to work within cross-functional teams.
. Self-starter who relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals in complex fast-paced environment to ensure quality of all data integration points.
. Excellent customer service skills
. Creative problem-solving and analysis skills
. Ability to handle problem situations quickly, inventively, and resourcefully
Experience in following areas a plus
. Exposure to the Azure or AWS ecosystem
. Experience with Python, Data Bricks, PySpark
. Knowledge of statistical concepts
. Business, economics, or quantitative methods background
