For the right candidate with the appropriate skill sets, the location of the role can be in Mumbai, Delhi or Bangalore. As a Program Manager, you will provide hands-on, full program life cycle expertise through the entire program life cycle. Responsibilities will include driving sales opportunity generation and opportunity closure programs in close collaboration with the sales leadership, partner teams, service line teams, professional services and training teams.
Amazon Internet Services Private Limited (AISPL) is leading the next paradigm shift in computing and is looking for world-class candidates to join its enterprise business. AISPL is seeking an experienced Program Manager to support the growing volume of businesses with large enterprise customers in India. The AISPL Program Manager will provide advisory support to the Field BD teams in closing large, complex enterprise deals. The ideal candidate will have a background in deal financial construction and sales operations enabling them to understand the impact of contract terms, compliance obligations, customer concerns, and model deal terms that reflect the best interests of the customer and the business. This individual will work closely with the account teams and support them in resolving all customer concerns in contractual negotiations, including creating proposals, collaborating with both internal stakeholders (e.g legal, finance, security and compliance teams) and external stakeholders (e.g. partners) on specific areas of concern and obtaining required approvals for executing contractual agreements.
The successful candidate must be able to develop new scalable and repeatable strategies and models to facilitate deal closure by:
a) Identifying typical deal blockers and crafting appropriate mitigation plans
b) Securing optimized sizing/pricing, in relation to customer and competitive dynamics
c) Delivering the lowest TCO by leveraging appropriate commercial programs
d) Developing proposal templates for common solutions (SAP, Migration, Analytics, AI/ML)
e) Conducting business or pricing analysis to prioritize and lead deal construct efforts
As an AISPL Program Manager, the candidate will have an exciting opportunity to directly impact the growth of the AISPL enterprise segment in India by engaging with the field teams and cross-functional stakeholders to accelerate deal velocity, improve sales productivity and drive the win rate on large contracts.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
. 10+ years of experience in drafting, reviewing, negotiating and closing large-technology deals
. Experience working in a lean, fast-paced, high growth organization with a deep understanding of complex decision-making processes & dynamics in large enterprises
. Team player with strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to rapidly build effective relationships with cross functional teams
. Strong analytical skills to study deal constructs and identify repetitive patterns of deal blockers and take corrective actions, as needed
. Strong written communication skills and ability to guide and influence senior leadership
. Ability to act as a trusted advisor to business teams to support the strategy, negotiation and execution of contract agreements
. Ability to explain standard agreement terms to counter parties and negotiate fallback positions to those terms where appropriate
. Ability to streamline and optimize processes for simplification of complex deal constructs
. Ability to effectively lead, orchestrate and deliver results across cross-functional, remote and virtual teams
. Bachelor's Degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
. Prior experience working in or with Tier 1 Technology providers, cloud service providers, managed service providers or large enterprises
. MBA or equivalent relevant Business or legal/commercial background
Proven project management experience working with large cross-functional teams and driving towards a common goal
