Job Role: Aircraft Maintenance Trainee Technician/OJT
Qualification Requirement
The candidate must have completed all 5 semesters of the AME course from a DGCA approved institution. It is mandatory for candidates to obtain a recommendation letter from their college/ institution. The letter should state that the On the Job training is required by the candidate as its a part of the curriculum for obtaining his/her AME certificate.
Job Responsibility
- Assisting in Maintenance/planning of aircraft Engine(gas turbine/ piston engine), aircraft components, Airframe, aircraft Structure, landing gear, hydraulic systems, and de-icers to locate cracks, breaks, leaks, or other problems.
- Assemble and installation of electrical, instrument, Radio parts of the airplane, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components and accessories using hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct routine & special inspections as required by regulations.

Documents required
Letter from college if the candidate has completed 2.5 years of AME Diploma, 5th-semester mark sheet, 2 pass-port photographs, permanent residential proof document. (Original and Photocopy)
Process for inducting an OJT:
Online Filling of Forms: The candidate needs to fill an online form to apply for On the Job Training under Airlines Engineering & Maintenance Category.
Shortlisting of candidates: Shortlisting of candidates for written tests will be done based on details in the form if they have completed AME Diploma or have completed 5th Semester in AME Diploma.
Written Test: A written test will be conducted for shortlisted candidates for OJT in Airlines. The written test will consist of multiple-choice questions. Candidates will be shortlisted only after they clear the written test.
