Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager- Content Engineer (Learning Content Specialist)
The Content Engineer (CE) will be responsible for end-to-end management including timely creation and management, quality, and accuracy, etc. of all learning content on Genome on EdCast, Special Programs, Adapt & Rise. This involves program managing upstream processes with Knowledge Managers (KM), managing requests through the Genpact Content Approval Workflow (or content planner), staging requests on EdCast as an administrator, and own the QC (quality control) process.
Responsibilities
Liaise with KM(s) aligned to respective skills to ensure all content requests are routed via Content Approval Workflow (DCT) and reviewed, signed-off by the Master Gurus / Gurus
Quality-check inputs received from KM, and provide feedback where necessary
Own end-to-end management of all learning content including creation, alignment of new and change requests, archival of channels, journeys, pathways, updating skill and proficiency level definitions, images, etc. for skills on Genome on EdCast, special programs, and Adapt & Rise
Ensure Content Engineering Practices (CEP) are followed and are in line with the defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Manage DCT / content planner to ensure content requests are supplemented with required meta-data to enable error-free staging, and that the requests are processed within defined SLA and risks highlighted in advance
Focus on Learner Experience through rigorous, continuous QC of all existing, new, change, archival, content sequencing, etc. requests
QC content staged by other team-members, leverage multi-device testing wherever possible, to ensure zero-surprise operations close loop with KM where necessary to ensure content is accessible across devices.
Maintain and update SOPs as required
Ensure closure on any helpmate tickets within the defined SLA
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
Solid Program Management (proactive follow-ups, close out on open tasks, ability to meet deadlines)
MS Office, good MS Excel skills are a must
Preferred qualifications
Good team player
Tech-savvy and problem-solving ability with a keen eye for detail
Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English
