Inviting applications for the role of MT, Commercial AssociateThis is a critical new role in the BidPro team under Growth Operations. It provides project management, document management and coordination support to senior colleagues in Commercial, Legal, Pricing and other roles who play a client-facing role in the contracting process and require this support to focus on critical results, issue management and negotiation actions.
The role is essential to Genpact and its results will have a significant bearing on our revenue and profit streams and risk exposure.
The person will work closely with the Sales, Commercial & Legal teams, and other partners, to handle the final contracting deliverables for our clients. The role provides an opportunity to act as a contract coordinator, who leads the various contract documents throughout different phases of contracting contract planning, contract building and updating, progress/status reporting, contract version management and issue management. It is an IC (Individual Contributor) role that requires project management and partner management skills. The candidate must have an experience of executive level communication both, written and verbal, influencing skills and ownership mind-set.
Responsibilities- This role entails partnering with global partners across Sales, Commercial, Legal, Solutioning, Practice, Pricing, Transitions, Delivery and other support teams to develop and deliver fit for purpose contracts to Genpact s clients.
- This role gives a complete end-to-end view and direct involvement in building, crafting and negotiating an effective contract, from the contract creation through signature and handover to operations. It provides an opportunity to be a part of commercial deal-shaping, negotiation and risk management across the contracting lifecycle.
Minimum Qualification
- Project management skills, preferably for production of sophisticated client deliverables, including document trackers
- Experience of working with multiple partners in remote locations
- Ability to work autonomously, completing results with minimal managerial oversight
- Eye for detail in reviewing contract documents and identifying potential risks to Genpact
- Proactive and appropriate partner concern of risks and issues to deal team colleagues for resolution
- Excellent, clear and unambiguous written and verbal communication
- Flexible in sometimes working in late hours and on weekends, given the project dynamics
- Capacity to work with virtual and global teams
- Ability to get activities/task done without follow-ups taking ownership
- Capable of expertly leading confidential information, including use of Sharepoint and Microsoft Teams
- Work in fast paced and ambitious environment

- MSAs/ Schedules/Supplements/SOWs/T&Cs etc. are updated, reviewed and completed as per plan
- Track changes, and version control for the contracts
- Regular positive feedback from partners
