Senior Advanced Cyber Security Engineer
The Sr. Advanced Cyber Security Engineer will be a key part of the Aero product security team and will be responsible for assessing and evaluating the security posture of a variety of Aerospace products and technologies. Some of the key responsibilities of the larger team include identifying security requirements, threat modelling, vulnerability analysis and penetration testing of aerospace products.
Key Responsibilities:
.Execute product security process activities including threat modelling, security requirements definition, cyber test planning and execution, and cyber risk assessments.
.Assist other team members with the identification of appropriate design changes to enable engineering and product teams to design, deliver and deploy secure systems.
.Assist with the execution, automation and visualization of cyber security testing and with quantifying product residual cyber risk.
.Assist in the development of modular, repeatable, effective Security Testing processes
.Partner with team members and other product security organizations to select, implement, develop, and automate testing with appropriate tools.
.Follow Aerospace defined processes to verify correctness and completeness of required cyber certification documentation and cyber security test activities.
.Help conduct continuous improvement activities that define, measure, visualize and improve key cyber security assurance metrics.
YOU MUST HAVE
.Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering, electrical engineering or other IT/technical degree
.9 to 13 years of minimum experience in the information and product security field, 2 to 3 years of which in software development in C/C++, C#, etc. scripting languages Python etc. for embedded systems
.Contemporary knowledge and expertise in secure coding practices, threat modeling techniques, encryption technologies, ethical hacking, and principles of security by design.
.Hands on experience in using Cyber Security industry relevant tools for eliciting security requirements, developing threat models, risk assessment, and penetration testing.
.Must have very good working knowledge of Cybersecurity standards, best practices, and frameworks (e.g. NIST, ISA/IEC, MITRE, BSIMM, OWASP, SANS, etc.)
WE VALUE
.Previous experience with designing, developing and testing embedded systems.
.Information Security accreditation (CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional or equivalent.), CSSLP, etc.
.Good cybersecurity capabilities and strong software engineering skills
.Up to date knowledge of current and emerging security threats and techniques for exploiting security vulnerabilities
.Effective oral and written communication skills
.Good interpersonal skills
.Project management skills.
.Experience and knowledge of penetration testing methodologies and tools
.Public speaking at Technical Conferences
.Familiarity with reverse engineering tools, debuggers, and dynamic analysis techniques.
.Skills/abilities in the following areas: ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities, drives and meets stretch goals, works effectively with peers, management and customers,
.Ability to Develop and implement action plans to meet objectives, proactively identify and resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.
