Key Responsibilities
. Ensure creation of quality process improvement and customer satisfaction improvement strategies for all accounts / projects.
. Recommend process goal setting in projects and also at the department level.
. Identify areas of improvement at project levels, coach project managers on strategies for improvement, customize the strategy for projects, verify implementation the strategy.
. Offer specialized process training including content-creation, for a particular business unit as well as at the organization level.
. Perform risk assessment, identifies risk levels, perform root cause analysis, identify risk mitigation action items (involving multiple groups), report risk levels to relevant stakeholders.
. Conduct audits, help plan and prepare for internal audits and external quality certifications and ensures closure of non-compliances.
. Plan for and recommend right frequency and customizations to the engagement level feedback, perform analysis on the feedback received and implement required action for improvement.
. Identify parameters and processes for benchmarking, select right benchmarking both internally and externally, identify high performance practices in order to improve delivery excellence and create mechanisms for best practices sharing.
. Lead, mentor and groom a team of software quality assurance engineers in process definition, process implementation and process audits pertaining to the Quality models and frameworks implemented in the organization.
. Identify and deploy Process Improvements, Best Practices, Reusable Components and Tools across the organization.
. Liaise with internal stakeholders across the organization to ensure process integrity. Identifies opportunities for process improvement through meticulous analysis of feedback received from internal and external customers, internal and external audits programs etc.
. Participates in various internal forums such as Information Security and Software Engineering process as well as in external audit programs.
. Actively partake in vendor evaluation activities and coordinate with external vendors on various services required by the organization namely consultancy, certification, purchase of tools/utilities etc.
. Drive improvement and reporting using quantitative techniques in keeping with the Business Objectives of the Organization.

Qualification
. Graduate
Experience / Skill Set
. 12+ years of overall experience in Software Quality Assurance.
. Conceptual and practical knowledge of Quality standards namely ISO 9001:2015, ISO 27001:2013 and the CMMI L5 framework. In addition, knowledge on ISO 20001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 would be nice to have.
. Familiar with various software life cycle frameworks and methodologies e.g. Waterfall, Iterative, Agile etc.
. Other skills would include: Project Management and Software engineering concepts, Metrics Management, Estimations, Risk Management, Configuration Management, Quantitative and Statistical Analysis techniques.
