Job Description Position Title, Responsibility Level (C2- Sr. Dev-Ops Architect) Function Platform Business Services Reports to AVP Permanent/ Temporary Permanent Span of Control Location Noida Essential Functions Serve as a champion/SME for DevOps practices across the organization, providing coaching, mentoring, and technical support Guide design and Implementation of DevOps solutions Bring new and emerging concepts in DevOps to our organization Help in Cloud migration of application. Setup Cloud based Dev-Ops practices with containerized environment Primary Internal Interactions Operations Team (Noida) Onshore Product Team Senior Leadership of EXL LifePRO/LISS & Business Fellow Exec/ Sr. Exec/ LAM / AM & Managers (Delivery and Support) with in EXL LifePRO/LISS Internal & External Auditors/ISG/BCP personnel Primary External Interactions None Organizational Relationships Reports To : AVP Supervises : None JD Template- Developer FORM/109 Internal Version 2.0 Page 2 of 3 Skills Experience Required 10&plus Years of experience in a Development Operations organization leading, administering, building and maintaining an automation environment Knowledge of microservices & Service Oriented Architectures Track record of delivering applications and cloud-based infrastructure delivery in an agile environment Experience with automated deployment, continuous integration, and release engineering tools Knowledge of software development and software testing methodologies Knowledge of cloud environments and how to implement cloud architectures Knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, autoscaling and auto-healing concepts Knowledge in various branching/merging methodologies and release procedures Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and a flexible mindset to handle a quickly changing culture Good working knowledge of containers and its orchestration Technical Skills Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, etc.) Experience with Microsoft tool chains (.NET, VSO/VSTS, Powershell) Experience with Infrastructure as Code (ARM Templates/Terraform/CloudFormation) Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tools (Bamboo, GIT, Jenkins) Experience with Monitoring Tools (Splunk, ELK, Data Dog) Experience with Scripting (Powershell, Bash, Python, etc) Experience with configuration management (Chef, Ansible, or Puppet) Experience with Git based workflows Experience working with REST APIs & microservice architecture. Good working exposure with containers (Docker): solid understanding of the entire container lifecycle. Hands-on experience on writing Dockerfiles. Good working exposure with container orchestration with Kubernetes. Hands on experience with writing '.yaml' files Hands on experience on Helm and Chart creation Soft skills (Desired) Architect level certification in AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Good listening and consultative skills Able to provide constructive Feedback Negotiation and persuasion Soft Skills (Minimum) Strong Technical Curiosity - does not have to be asked to show initiative and investigate to find the root problems and suggest resolutions Good communication skills Good analytical skills.
