Role - Software Development Manager
We are looking for a dynamic Manager who will oversee and manage the development and design of various software applications. Subsequently manage a team of Software Engineers & Architects.

Responsibilities what will you do
- Responsible for the overall development life cycle of the solution and manage complex projects with significant bottom line impact
- Work with the team in developing a strategy and road map to provide compelling capabilities that helps them succeed in their business goals.
- Work closely with senior engineers to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development.
- Instill best practices for software development and documentation, assure designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.
- Project management - prioritization, planning of projects and features, Stakeholder management and tracking of external commitments
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions.
- Operational Excellence - monitoring & operation of production services
- Career management and development of direct reports

Job requirements / Qualification what we expect you to bring
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- 7+ years of Software Development experience
- 3+ years of experience in building and leading strong engineering teams
- 3+ years of experience managing a Program/ Product scoping, planning, partnering with Business, and delivery
- Deep hands-on technical expertise in web technologies viz. Tech/ Tools: Java/ .Net, MERN/ MEAN, RDBMS, NoSQL, Python, ML, AWS/ Azure, VSO/ Atom/ Github, Containers, Microservices
- Solid software development background including design patterns, data structures etc.
- Demonstrated experience building Cloud native applications at scale
- Experience in translating business requirements to tech solutions and leading engineering efforts towards quality delivery
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices, coding standards, code reviews, build processes, testing, and operations
- Ability to collaborate and build strong relationships
- Capability to provide architectural direction as well as be hands on if required
- Excellent Communication skills to engage with developers and other senior stakeholders
- Deep domain experience in ERP, CRM, FinTech etc.
