Job Description for ITC position.
ZF ITC currently has an opening in the slip control system braking software group, which is responsible for delivering Performance Feature software releases to internal program application teams. The Performance Feature subsystem must be capable of meeting customer and internal performance requirements, as well as SW quality requirements. Examples of Performance Features include Anti-Lock Brake, Traction Control, Electronic Stability Control and related brake-control functions.
For the current position we are interested in candidates with
- Background and interest in model based design and testing.
- The candidate should have experience with SIL (Software in Loop), MIL (Model in loop) testing.
- Exposure to creating S-functions from embedded C code.
- Additionally, we are looking for a highly motivated, flexible, team oriented individual that will adapt well in our lean environment.
Primary responsibilities:
- Supporting all phases of the algorithm and software development, implementation, and release processes.
- Develop SIL testing environment using Microsoft Visual Studio. Develop test maneuvers for SIL testing
- Support generating S-functions for MATLAB, Integrate with Simulink models.
- Interface with development groups overseas (US, China and Europe) in support of global collaboration.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics/Controls, Computer Science or other related engineering fields.
- Advanced programming and debugging skill with embedded C
- Background in embedded control software architectural analysis, design, implementation, integration, and release.
- Outstanding problem-solving / troubleshooting skills.
- Good knowledge of Visual Studio, experience with generating S-functions.
- Knowledge of integrating S-functions into simulation environments and perform SIL testing.
- Knowledge of simulation development tools such as Matlab / Simulink / Targetlink.
- Knowledge of configuration and work flow management tools like MKS Integrity, PTC tools etc.
- Good communication skills (Fluent English, Spoke and Written)
Additional Skills
- Experience with working in a global team.
- Experience in Automotive embedded software domain.
- Any experience with Vector CAN tools will be considered a plus
- Any knowledge of vehicle dynamic simulation tools like CarMaker/CarSim will be considered a plus.
- knowledge in application programming with C# a plus
