Job Description
Job descriptionTo utilize technical expertise ( Mechanical) for executing maintenance activity in the event of machine breakdowns, conducting analysis and undertaking corrective action to ensure minimal production loss due to non availability of machinery
Roles and Responsibilities
* Respond to and resolve all customer queries/ issues in a timely and efficient manner
Lead interaction with internal departments who are a part of the CFT, for any queries/ issue faced w.r.t conduct of feasibility study, execution of project, technical specifications of customers etc
Ensure adherence to approved departmental maintenance budget
* Attend to breakdowns in designated section, conduct root cause analysis, why-why analysis, fishbone analysis etc. and ensure implementation of corrective action
* Support the Section Head in identifying potential areas of improvement for machine breakdowns in the designated section
* Report all breakdowns to the Section head and execute maintenance activities for breakdowns in shifts, as per direction provided
* Maintain record of equipment wise maintenance/ mechanical failures/ breakdown in equipment, and provide breakdown reports of the same to Section Head to prevent repetitive failures
* Prepare machine breakdown reports for own shift as per the designated format; Upload data in SAP as per guidelines
* Document all jobs including details of problem diagnosis and resolution as well as spares used for future reference and analysis
* Monitor spares consumption and issue material from Stores as per requirement
* Ensure effective utilization of spares and materials
* Implement action steps on reducing losses and wastages during maintenance activities
* Update log books and provide regular MIS and feedback on shift performance to the department for monitoring and reporting purposes
Complying & adhere the requirement related to ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001.
