US MNC: Electronics Engineer(Drivers,Controllers& Feedback Sensors)@ Mumbai

Position Summary:
- Responsible for the development of drivers & controllers mainly for BLDC motors
- The role is to understand customer needs & to participate in the development orcustomization of the electronic.
- Will work collaboratively with Engineering & Cross-functional Teams based out of India, Switzerland & USA for developing drivers thatare easy to use. In the role, the incumbent will also be required to work closely with external suppliers / partners for complex motion solutions.
Education & Experience
- Masters degree in Electric Drives, Power Electronics & Drives, Electronics/Power Electronics 3-5 years experience
OR
- D. in Electrical (Electric Drives & control, power electronics & drives) or related specializations with 0-2 years experience
- In either case , UG in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics Engineering essential
- Background of Mechatronics is preferred
- Exposure to Robotics will be added advantage
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
New products design & development:
- Passionate for Mechatronic Solutions
- Understand Electronic Driver for Electric Motor & their applications.
- Help the team to elaborate electronic product road map.
- FromVOCDefine product specifications.
- From product specifications, develop concept, design a solution, or work with external partners.
- Ensure new projects are respecting milestones & development process.
- Sales support Work closely with Business development team & Product Line Manager to propose solution. Help them to build product road map.
Functional Competencies:
- Knowledge of analog & Digital Circuit DesignforElectric Motors, Drives&Feedback Sensors.
- Knowledge of motion control, control systems application in speed, torque or position control.
- Knowledge of Measurement instruments like Digital Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Function generator/ Spectrum Analyzer
- Understanding of Electronics & Micro Electronics
- Knowledge of Embedded System development capability (software & hardware)
- Knowledge of 16/32 Bit Microcontroller is an added advantage
- Knowledge of LabVIEW & MATLAB are an added advantage
Key Stakeholders:
- Internal: Electronics Engineering, Product Management, BU director, Quality, Supply Chain,
- Manufacturing External: Customers, Suppliers
Language Skills: Fluency in verbal & written English communication
