Job purpose
1)To create marketing strategies; to provide administrative support to department, etc.
2)Accountable for testing and ensuring bug free projects
Job Responsibilities
1.Interact with users and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives and build automated test suites
2.Design and create test cases/conditions and scripts to address business and technical use cases
3.Procure or create test data required for testing and set up the required test beds (hardware, software and network)
4.Perform manual testing, the scope of which will encompass all functionality of system/s
5.Increasing quality and test coverage
6.Use white box testing, security testing, tools development, scripting to execute test cases for software solutions and build/script new tools for performing testing/validation function
7.Utilize innovative test technologies to develop a product's testing strategy
8.Automation/manual testing of system/s, ensuring high-quality code with proper coding guidelines
9.Develop and lead the automation strategy/effort and generate scripts for automation of test cases and testing cycles
10.Create test logs and report test results, defects to the stakeholders
11.Participate in design and code inspections and troubleshooting of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
12.Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate, using Quality Center or similar tools/means
13.Develop new test methodologies or processes, re-evaluate existing processes & measure quality of system/s
Key Skills:
Key Skills:
Strong technical background, detail driven and have excellent problem solving abilities
Mandatory:
Experience in test automation tools like Selenium Web driver, Auto IT etc.
Strong coding, debugging and troubleshooting skills
Experience in Source Control like GIT, JIRA, SVN & Test Case Management tools
Good knowledge of web application, coding and programming framework including Java, JSP, Java Script, MVC (eg. Spring, hibernate)
Good knowledge of networking including SSL/TLS/TCP/IP, IPSec, firewalls
Experience in using performance optimization tools
Prior experience in Agile Test Automation is a plus
Industry Preference: OPEN
Experience 2 to 5 years of experience in product QA including doing code review / bug analysis, writing test tools and test automation
Job Location: Mumbai Jogeshwari
Working Days: 5 days
Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent degree
