Desired Candidate Profile
Role DescriptionIndividual will be responsible to developing manual test cases
Responsible for executing manual test cases (and Automated scripts)
Responsible for tracking and logging defects during test execution
Generating reports such as defect analysis report, feature status report, etc
Actively participate in requirement analysis and test design
Provide proactive advice and feedback throughout the software testing lifecycle for prevention and early correction of quality problem
Testing all aspects of the product/system like function/component, system, performance, regression and service.
Work with development team to identify and capture test cases, ensure version management
Setting up of test environments, designing test plans, developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing these cases.
Providing feedback on usability and serviceability, trace the result to quality risk and report it to concerned people.
Desired Skills (for Experienced):
Good Knowledge in JIRA, web service testing & Confluence
Good Knowledge in Zephyr
Have good understanding of Software testing lifecycle
Should have Knowledge in various test development and design methodologies
Working knowledge on SQL
Good working knowledge on Agile methodology and process
Preferred Skills (good to have):
Working knowledge on SoapUI/postman and web service tests
Sound interpersonal and team working skills
Behavioural Attributes
Hands on automation using Java
Hands on experience on Unix based platform
Basic knowledge of SQL queries
Have knowledge in any scripting skills (shell, bash, python)
Education:
UG: Any Graduate - Any Specialization, B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization
PG: Post Graduation Not Required, M.Tech - Any Specialization, MCA - Computers, MS/M.Sc(Science) - Any Specialization
