Inviting applications for the role of Consultant Encryption Engineer

Looking for someone with key competencies in the execution of the application implementation tasks.
- Roles and Responsibilities
You will be working in a Security Engineering, Architecture and Operations capacity to drive and support improvements in our Information Protection Portfolio, notably in Data Encryption including Email Encryption, Full Disk Encryption and Information Rights Management. Other areas covered by the team include Data Loss Prevention (DLP/CASB) and Cloud Security.
- Work collaboratively with application development, data protection, information security, and risk management team to understand and implement data encryption solutions
- Support development of proof of concepts and research into new security technologies
- Continuously improve encryption services based on input from a diverse network of internal and external stakeholders and technology teams as well as the IT industry at large.
- Support maintenance of technical service roadmaps pertaining to encryption Full Disk Encryption, Email Encryption, and Information Rights Management.
- Prepare and review monthly status reports and statistics
- Troubleshoot Data Encryption and Security issues
- Apply industry and BCG security knowledge, policies, standards, and practices
- Qualifications we seek in you
What are the minimum prior qualifications to be an applicant for this role:
- Relevant bachelor s degree (or equivalent)
- Experience in systems and/or security engineering with large scale implementations distributed globally
- Experience of Email Encryption (Enforced TLS, S/MIME & PGP) and Full Disk Encryption (BitLocker, FileVault 2) capabilities are required
- Knowledge of Information Rights Management/DRM solutions including, but not limited to Active Directory Rights Management, Azure Information Protection, Vera, etc. is desirable.
- Subject matter expertise of data-at-rest and data-in-transit protection techniques and methodologies, including encryption, cryptographic key management, and PKI lifecycle management
- Related security certifications are desired (e.g. CISSP, CCSP, ITIL Foundations etc.).
- Preferred qualifications In addition to above
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; command of additional languages will be considered a plus
- Strong interpersonal and team skills
- Strong problem-solving skills including the ability to clearly define the problem and identify potential solutions that consider its broader impact
- Ability to work in an Agile environment leveraging strong work management, organizational and planning skills
- Well-honed influencing skills including the ability to negotiate and gain consensus amongst all involved parties where competing priorities exist
- Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual, geographically dispersed team
- Able to perform successfully in a demanding, fast-paced, intellectually intense, service-oriented, and global (follow the sun) environment.
