Currently, we have an urgent requirement for the 'Automation Technician' position for OMAN.(Those who are currently in OMAN are eligible)
Position: Automation Technician
Location: OMAN(Those who are currently in OMAN are eligible)
Qualification: Technical Diploma certification in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation
Experience: Minimum 5-year experience as an Automation Technician in a dairy plant.
Salary: 350 OMR (152 Basic+95 Transport+105 Other Allowance) +Free Accomdation+Yearly Ticket+ 30 Days annual Leave+ Other facilities will be as per work requirement
Job Purpose:
This position assists the Automation Engineer in designing, testing, perfecting, calibration, and maintaining products, machinery, and equipment. The responsibilities include maintenance & troubleshooting of PLC Siemens & Allen Bradley..etc and all kinds of Instruments in processing equipment including Pasteurizers, UHT, Cheese, Ice Cream, Fillers, Packers, and Robots.
Job Description:
Ensure that prompt, uninterrupted, and effective support is provided to the manufacturing team. Demonstrate and execute progressive maintenance, support to electrical and mechanical maintenance. Focused improvement and total productive maintenance culture in the entire plant to achieve targeted equipment efficiency. Ensure technical operations, standards and controls are maintained at high quality. Ensure that PM is effectively implemented. Actively participate in AM andPM activities on all the lines of the business and ensure that the abnormalities are identified and fixed. Diagnosing the issue and making the corresponding repairs to address malfunctioning machines. Repair and perform preventive maintenance on machines as per established standards to avoid machine downtime. Troubleshoot electrical and automation controls for machines. Keep Meticulous Records machine Service History Calibration of all process variables instruments. Ensure to handle shift duties independently.

Skills:
Knowledge of industry safety practices
Experience in Servo motors, servo drives, Encoders, Load Cell, Soft Starters, and VFDs.
Maintenance and calibration experience of 4-20mA Hart transmitter process equipment.
Know the Electrical drawings, I/O checking& fault finding through PLC software in
processing and filling machines.
Hands-on experience of debugging the fault in a communication network, SCADA,
and process instruments.
Experience of maintenance and troubleshooting of control circuits.
Critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills in process and Automation.
Attention to Detail, Manual Dexterity, PhysicalStrength, Physical Stamina, Spatial
