Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager -Strategic Sourcing / Consulting
Job Description:
Develop his/her own task plan to meet the project objectives and handle his/her task schedule based on overall project schedule, as an independent consultant (Limited supervision from PMO Lead)
Conduct structured interview with SME to identify As-Is process information, including process steps, FTE, SIPOC, some attributes required for further analysis, not just recording what SME says but guiding SME to explain about his/her process step by step logically.
Guide team member for As-Is process documentation by checking the quality of outputs and the progress.
Analyze As-Is process, improvement opportunities and IT solution area and facilitate / lead structured workshop with SME for reviewing the SSC / improvement opportunities.
Identify outsourcing / retained process and create the report for Due Diligence.
Interact proactively with PMO Lead (other consulting firm) to propose and advise about the project approach, deliverables, process framework as well as steering committee report
Direct and indirect sourcing experience (IT, Real Estate, Professional Services, Banking Operations, Marketing, HR) will be plus
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
Strong interpersonal and client facing skills, coupled with a determined and competitive attitude and the willingness to lead a dynamic project team
1. Demonstrated ability to drive change for sourcing compliance
2. Excellent communication skills in both oral and written
3. Fluent English and Japanese communication (JPT N1 Level and worked with Japanese client is must)
4. High result orientation, Strategic thinking, Strong negotiation skills
5. Flexibility in attitude & behavior, Creative, resourceful, takes initiative
6. Exposure to ERP systems (Oracle / SAP / Ariba / Emptoris any other S&P tools is a positive)
