Key Responsibilities:
Provides support for highly complex technical issues and initiatives related to Platform Applications. Uses/creates diagnostic, simulation and other tools to maintain, troubleshoot and restore service or data to systems
Monitors the batches and ensure it is completed within the SLA.
Escalates the job failures to the respective teams and keeps the business informed about the same
Ensures the timely delivery of daily, weekly and monthly reports to the stakeholders and validates its correctness. .
Participates in weekend oncall support on rotational basis
Evaluate or review queries to extract data, perform limited programming to fine tune systems supported
Monitor alerts from production systems. Tools used : Splunk, AppDynamics, OVPM
Triage alerts and intimate application teams as applicable.
Code analysis and provide RCA, Problem management, recommendations of changes for fix
Engage EACO for high severity incidents.
Creating Problem Ticket and notify the respective team whenever there is an anticipated production impact.
Performs issue analysis and coordinates resolution with users, vendors and internal service groups.
Analyzes performance trends and recommends process improvements; assesses changes for risk to production systems and assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported areas
Updates, creates and tests the business continuation plan (BCP) Essential Skills:
6 years of experience in Application production support using Microsoft
Technologies ASP.Net, C#.Net, MVC/MVC WebAPI, WCF, Javascript, AJAX and Angular(version 8) ,Typescript, SSIS, Autosys, Angular JS, Splunk, Unix, Windows
Strong in Oracle and SQL Database queries, procedures, functions, stored procedures, performance tuning, PL/SQL.
Ability to analyze the code and extract the required data from Database using the prepared query
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities, with quick adaptation to new technologies, methodologies and systems.
Good experience on production support tools such and AppDynamics, Splunk etc.
Attention to detail & ability to make quick and accurate decisions, including timely identification & appropriate escalation of critical issues.
Responsible for the overall development life cycle of the solution and manage multi-release multi-complexity projects.
Good Understanding of IT Service Management Processes with hands on experience with PAC2000.
Strong leadership skills, ability to lead and drive the team ensuring defect free deliverables and also motivate the team to perform better every day taking up more ownership and accountability.
Must possess innovative and Out-of-box thinking while developing advanced technical solutions to business problems, and grab opportunities to improve system resiliency.
Ability to coordinate, multitask and meet SLA/deadlines.
Ability to identify areas of improvement and performance tuning and work towards automating the manual tasks
