Job Description

About the Role As part of Wells Fargo Technology team, this is a management position responsible for managing a team of highly skilled technologists towards change the bank (BA, Dev, Testing) efforts for applications in WDTT-Digital Customer Experience team at WFIP. The incumbent will be a technical expert playing the lead role for change the bank responsibility for transformational programs towards building products providing world class Digital Customer experience

This is a hands-on management position primarily responsible for the application development, maintenance and project delivery for a portfolio of applications within Wholesale Digital and Transformation Technology. The role encompasses technical functional expertise, people management and stakeholder management Responsibilities Understand product portfolio and actively contribute to roadmap strategy
Generate application engineering policies, standards and procedures.
Plan, perform and resolve escalated platform coding and testing issues of a technically challenging nature. Accountable for overall delivery for a portfolio or set of product teams
Responsible for defining opportunities across IT to maximize assets and improve processes while reducing cost.
Works closely work with CTOs or CTO directs and actively contribute to development and implementation of key technology strategies from WFEGS perspective
Actively participate in global leadership meetings, demonstrate executive presence , present & propose solutions proactively
Meet talent needs for the group including flexible and full time ones for technology delivery
Responsible for creating opportunities for team members (including the managers) growth
Accountable for expectations setting (goal settings) for the team members in line with the larger Essential Qualifications:
Bachelors in Engineering or equivalent and must have 16+ Years of overall experience and proven record of leading and managing a minimum team of 15+ Direct and about 30-50 indirect Technology Team members

Java Stack, UI Technologies (ReactJS, Angular, JQuery), Web Services, Design Patterns & Cloud Platform enablement with engineering focus
Take ownership of delivery and manage multi-release projects in AGILE and Waterfall methodologies
Functional Skills in onboarding systems, and hands-on in integrations with integrated systems.
Testing - Unit, SIT and Support for UAT testing. Test Automation using Selenium, Junit.
Provides technical direction to the project team: lead and participate in design discussions, writing code and code reviews. Work closely with the team to develop appropriate technical design and approach for application development
Periodic review of current status of system applications and prepare recommendations for improvements
Assure deliverables are as per the agreed requirements, confirm to quality standards, and are delivered within committed timelines

Desired Qualifications: Familiar with technologies: Web Services(SOAP & REST), Micro Services, Cloud Platforms (Azure & PCF), Message Format(JSON, XML), Database( Oracle, SQL, NoSQL), Web Client, UX, OCR, NLP, ML
