Job Description

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Produce well- structured and maintainable code to meet project goals as per the guideline and ARRIS process
Develop embedded system software for ARRIS products
Participate and contribute to design, code and usecase reviews.
Work on feature development including driver level, middleware and application
Ensure proper module tests, debug and verification of software as requested, prior to release
Provide maintenance support for existing products to ensure prompt rectification of problems
Adhere to the build environment and configuration management systems, to ensure consistent usage and correct release of software.
Adhere defined quality standards for Software Engineering.
Working with product management to clarify requirements and review software design proposals to meet market needs
Working with Project team of various sizes.
Working on multiple projects.
Taking constructive feedback to improve quality and develop skills

Required Candidate profile

Qualifications
10 - 12 years of experience in software development in Embedded Systems
Expertise building and evolving scalable, high- performance and complex embedded systems
Strong object- oriented design and development skills
Proficient in C, C .
Good knowledge of scripting languages
Strong programming and debugging skills on Linux platform
Good Networking protocols knowledge - TCP, UDP, IP, Ethernet packets, OSI Layers
Working experience in WiFi (802.11 protocols)
Experience on Wi- Fi 802.11ac or 802.11ax would be a strong plus.
Domain modeling expertise, mapping real world problems to system architecture
Experience in entire software engineering life cycle from requirement analysis, architecture, design, development, code review, quality assurance to deployment
B.E./ B.Tech or M.E/ M.Tech with specialization in Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Systems
