Medical Coding

Work location: Chennai
Level: SPE
Shift timings: 6:30am to 3:30pm
Skill set: Minimum 2 Years Experience in HCC Coding Certified medical coders

Job Description
Risk Adjustment coder

Job Responsibilities

Review the medical records, identify diagnoses and convert to ICD-10-CM codes by following CMS-HCC, HHS & client specific guidelines
Flag reports/send queries to the provider for documentation deficiency

Experience

At least 2 years of experience in Medical coding with experience and strong knowledge in ICD-10-CM coding

Certifications (Mandatory)

Any one of the following coding certifications
CPC, COC, CRC, CPC-P from AAPC
CCS, CCS-P, CCA from AHIMA

Additional requirements

Strong knowledge in Medical terminology, Anatomy, ICD-9-CM and ICD-10-CM coding guidelines
