We are inviting applications for the role of AM,Treaty Reinsurance
In this role you will be responsible for Collaborating with appropriate reinsurance resources (i.e., Underwriting, Reinsurance, Accounting, Operations, IT, etc.) to report and provide resolution to issues preventing the accurate and prompt completion of Treaty reinsurance premium booking transactions
Handles the negotiation, placement, and maintenance of ceded reinsurance treaties. This role will meet with business unit leaders to figure out how reinsurance can support their strategic initiatives
Understand all reinsurance processes and be able to research and process daily assumed/Ceded reinsurance new business as well as renewal transactions (Submissions and Premium Booking)
Ensure new and renewal treaty business underwrite in accordance with the underwriting authority, taking care of complex treaty placements including all tasks associated with information, data gathering, Analyzing documents, coverage analysis, Premium calculations.
Providing Treaty support and services to clients from UK, US and APAC region.
Adherence to underwriting rules and guidelines and developing good customer relationships through providing outstanding service.
Ensure that the treaty reinsurance has the right structure, the right terms and conditions, at the best possible price.
Maintain work tracking system to provide up to date and accurate metrics on treaty reinsurance submission premium booking activity
Experience of handling of complex treaty reinsurance agreements that require processing outside the standard reinsurance workflow.
Prepare recurring status reports on facultative reinsurance premium booking activity
Willing to work flexible and varying shifts through the year and also must react positively and effectively to needs of balancing volume spikes (usually at quarter & Year ends)
Qualification we seek in you
Minim Qualification
Any graduate except technical
Relevant experience in Reinsurance & Underwriting will be an advantage
Preferred Skill Set:
Required P&C Reinsurance experience in Treaty business and Good understanding of Reinsurance Slips & Certificate
Knowledge of Endorsement processing and Premium calculations and Exposure to UK & US Reinsurance markets
Preferred Certification in Insurance & Reinsurance e.g. LM1, LM2, IIA & ARE
Advance excel knowledge required
Good in Analytical Ability and Decision-making
