Job Description
Power BI Implementation and Architecting
The Power BI is responsible for developing state-of-the-art data and analytics driven solutions at the Enterprise level. The person that fills this position will be responsible for the Data Architecting and System Integrations across Cloud and Hybrid Data Lake Solutions.
The successful candidate will be versed in implementing large scale Enterprise Data Warehouse / Data Lake Projects. Should have good experience in providing Enterprise Solutions on on-prim Hadoop / Big Data Platform, AWS, Azure and GCP cloud Platforms. They should also have strong communication skills and be able to collaborate with technical and non-technical partners.
Responsibilities.
Extensive Power BI Implementation and Architecting experience including latest version
2)Strong experience in Power BI Development, enhancement and Migration.
3)Experienced Power BI developer including experience in SQL Server and SSAS
4)Experience required in implementing Power BI reports reading data from different data sources including on premise data servers, cloud services and several file format
5)Experience in creating Reports, Dashboard and visualizations in PowerBI
6)Competent with Power BI Desktop, Gateway, Service and Report Server.
7)Good understanding of Power Query M and hands on experience in writing complex DAX queries
8)Experience in creating KPI and map based reports
9)Experience in implementing static and dynamic Row Level Security in Power BI, extensive experience with Dataset design, Data Cleansing and Data Aggregation
10)Excellent understanding of tool functions, limitations and hidden features
11)Certified in Power BI is an added advantage
12)Understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles, and practices
13)Strong SQL reporting skills with the ability to create SQL views and write SQL queries to build custom datasets for reporting or analysis
14)Building up Strong COE Approach
15)Migration and Upgrade experience is added advantage
16)Power BI Cluster Management and Performance tuning is added advantage
17)Experience in Commercial Pharma is a great plus
18)Proven track record
of performance tuning, handling data issues

Strong communication and presentation skills

21)Excellent analytical, problem solving and debugging skills, with strong ability to quickly learn and comprehend business processes and problems in order to effectively develop technical solutions to their requirements
Preferred qualifications
- Extensive experience in architecting, data modeling, design, development, data migration and data integration aspects of SDLC
- Knowledge and experience in cloud architectures and cloud tools (Azure/GCP/AWS)
- Familiarity and experience with agile (scrum) development process
- Strong Experience with - Version Control System such as Git
- Strong Experience with NoSQL such as MongoDB, Hbase
- Strong Experience with Continuous Deployment tool like Jenkins
