Inviting applications for the role of Azure SQL Developer
In this role, you will be responsible for creating technical specification, developing a component or improving an existing module and deploying the same to QA post successful unit testing. You are encouraged to contribute to the vision, understand the product roadmap, integrate business value with experience and contribute to building an engineering culture within the team. You must be proficient in agile software development concepts.
Responsibilities
- Experience in application/production development, maintenance and support of MSBI and Azure applications.
- SQL scripting (Stored procedure, error handling, Performance Tuning, data massaging etc.) to transform data and efficiently process large data sets
- Good knowledge of AZURE Cloud platform services stack - Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, AZURE Data Warehouse, Azure databricks, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake Storage, HD Insight, Cosmos DB, etc.
- Developing and supporting scripts for custom ETL processes and automation in SSIS, Azure data factory, Azure databricks, Python, Pyspark etc.
- Data warehouse development and maintenance using SQL Server or cloud-based databases such as Azure SQL
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or MCA, Computer Engineering or related technical field.
- Hands-on experience on designing and developing scripts for custom ETL processes and automation in Azure data factory, Azure databricks, Python etc.
- Mush Have Skills: Azure ADF, Databricks, SSIS, SQL, Stored Procs development experience
- SQL scripting (Stored procedure, error handling, Performance Tuning, data massaging etc.) to transform data and efficiently process large data sets
- Good communication skills
Preferred qualifications
- Good understanding of the Cloud technologies
- Experience in working on a cloud project delivery model, cloud automation solutions
- Good to have SSRS, PowerBI hands on experience
- Good Understanding of Azure Data Factory, Blob Storage, KeyVault
- Experience in SCRUM or other Agile methodologies.
