Job Description
The Test Data Management TDM Engineer is responsible for planning discovery design
development and maintenance of test data using appropriate test data management tools and
techniques
This role will develop test data management strategies and plans to provide right sized
production like reusable and secured test data per test data requirements as well as discover
generate profile transform enrich cleanse extract subset mask load validate refresh reset
archive purge test data and resolve defects of test data and data maker data fabrication and
automation tools SQL scripts jobs and programming languages.
Candidates for this role should be prepared to act as a technical expert in their field focused
on the technical aspects of test data discovery architecture test data provisioning and
maintenance .
This role works with the Test Engineers to capture and review test data requirements and test
data provisioning techniques and plans.
Candidates should also be proficient in utilizing test data management tools providing right
sized reusable and safe test data resolving test data related issues including defects and data
load and masking issues.
5 - 8 years developing test data management strategy in accordance to data governance
policies for programs/projects.
5 years relevant discovering test data by analysis of business flows system integrations data
architectures business data objects business data rules and data entities and relationships
Validating production copy data to test systems
3 years generating production that meets complex business data rules of integrated
applications identifying and masking sensitive test data to meet security requirements and
business data rules of integra ted systems
4 years in any of Test Data Management TDM tools Datagap query surge genlocked IBM
infosphere.
Hands on in Python language and depth knowledge in SQL .
