Duck Creek Test Manager (offshore) Minimum Qualification:
The Duck Creek Test Manager is a senior level role that owns the End-to-End Test
Management (Manual , Automation && Performance Testing) of Duck Creek programs and
ensures successful delivery of the projects with quality.
This role should be proficient with Test management of Duck Creek suite of applications and
understand the peripheral applications, external integrations in a P&&C company.
This person also supports transformation engagements and collaborates with Sales, Delivery,
Enterprise Architecture to ensure the overall test management aligns with clients objectives,
strategy and expectations.
The person should also be capable of capturing && sharing the various test metrics.
Bachelor or masters degree in Information Systems/ Computer Science or equivalent
Responsibilities:
Engage at the pre-sales stage to understand the customer testing challenges and propose a
cost effective && industry best solution.
For effort estimations, proposing testing solution/approach and/or templates as needed for
proposals.
Define overall Test Plan/strategy for the Duck creek applications to be implemented
Collaborate with technical architecture project team and ensure the overall Testing approach
is in-align to the proposed solution && ensures industry best testing practices are followed.
Define the Test practice && methodologies to be followed.
Walkthrough of overall Test plan to all the stakeholders.
Create the schedule, assign tasks && track the progress.
Conduct periodic reviews of all Test artefacts (Test Plan, Test cases, Test Scripts, Test
Results, etc.), provide proactive feedback and ensure 100% test coverage.
Mentor team leads, prospective Test managers and contribute to building the next level test
manager in the organization.
Identify potential re-usable test artefacts, solutions/accelerators and contribute to creation of
market differentiating IPs.
Proactively identify risks, dependencies between systems/teams and work with leadership
team. Handling Teams from different geographical locations and clients.
Collaborate with client in arriving at NFRs, conduct performance Testing, measure the
performance benchmarks and ensure the overall solution meets the NFRs.
Ensures that application fulfills the security requirements
Experience:
Minimum of 10+ years of experience with prior test management experience.
Minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience in Duck Creek Suite of applications
(Policy/Billing/Claims) implementation. ( Good to Have Data Insight knowledge).
Minimum of 4+ years of P&&C insurance domain experience as a Test Lead on Duck Creek
implementation.
Should have experience in Test management tools like Dev-Azure, Jira, HP ALM, etc.
Prior experience in Automation Testing using TAC, Selenium, UFT, Regression Runner etc. &&
Performance Testing JMeter, etc.
Experience in cloud-based SaaS Solution Offering and DCOD testing knowledge will be
added advantage.
Well versed with software development model using Iterative and Agile Scrum.
Prior experience of front facing customers.
Ability to work independently as an integral part of a team, take initiative and contribute in a
fast-paced environment.
Should have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Prior experience with participating/leading proposal defenses will be a plus.
