Job Description
Lead Consultant, Java Developer
Manage multiple tasks and use sound judgment when prioritizing
Collaborate with global cross functional teams in building customer-centric products
Analyze existing software implementations to identify areas of improvement and provide deadline estimates for implementing new features
Update and maintain documentation for team processes, best practices and software runbooks
Establish trusted partnerships with peers, product heads, and executive level stakeholders
Must be passionate about technology and engineering
Exceptional analytical skills and ability to apply knowledge and experience in decision-making to arrive at creative and commercial solutions
Ability to leverage technology to deliver business value
Must be independent and comfortable in a fast paced, ambiguous and often multi-directional work environment
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
Masters / Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electronics Engineering or related technical discipline
Experience in software design & development, including a clear understanding of data structures, algorithms, software design and core programming concepts
Comfortable with multi-tasking, managing multiple stakeholders and working as part of a global team
Comfortable working in highly dynamic and rapid development environment
Excellent communication skills including experience speaking to technical and business audiences
Can apply an entrepreneurial approach and passion to problem solving and product development
Preferred qualifications
Must Have:
- All the FTC should know java 8+ and good practices around it.
- Basic Knowledge of JEE standard and web development on tomcat, dropwizard, springboot
- DB knowledge and good understanding of writing PL/SQL. Any equivalent ORM/JDBC knowledge is required
- Rest API Development in Java and best practices around it.
- Working knowledge of spring
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Desired Skills: Some conditional requirements for FTCs in addition to above
- At least 1 FTC should having hashing (bycrpt, sha1 etc) and encryption (AES 256 etc) knowledge
- At least 1 FTC should know threat modeling. If this FTC does not know the above in details, it would be fine to proceed.
- At least 1 FTC should know Risk Scoring Products like WhiteOps and Threat Matrix
- Good to have it would be great if 1 FTC is aware of PKI stack.
