Mandatory Skills:
1. Excellent Linux and Windows OS skills related to File system calls, kernel space, user space.
2. Design, Deploy, Configure and Test the NAS (SMB/NFS) storage in On-Prem or on cloud with in-depth understanding of SMB and NFS protocol and its usage in enterprise scale.
3. Knowledge of object storage and able to correlate with latest cloud object storage either on-prem or in cloud.
4. I/O Workload and performance analysis on any of the enterprise File storage systems is preferred.
5. Competent with at least one of the following scripting languages; Python, bash, powershell.
6. Good understanding of infrastructure networking, AD server/authentication, DNS.
Nice to have :
7. Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools e.g. any of the Ansible/Terraform/Deployment Manager/Azure ARM templates and any of the monitoring tools (Grafana/ELK/Solarwinds/Dynatrace/Nagios), is preferred
8. Experience in Dev/Ops deployment pipelines
9. Hands on experience working in either of Azure, AWS or GCP environment.
10. Basic understanding of Clustering, HA, Disaster Recovery, Snapshot / backup is desirable.
