Job Description
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze system Requirements.
- Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective test plans.
- Participate in identifying the scope for automation on the product features.
- Participate in requirement discussions to analyze scope of Automation for new requirements
- Participate in design discussions to capture business requirements for automating them.
- Create and execute the automation scripts for the identified scenarios
- Implement changes as per Review comments.
- Execute the scripts and extract results.
- Troubleshoot identified Bugs, perform RCA and document them.
- Validate that user expectations are achieved during the testing phases.
- Report bugs to development teams.
- Conduct post-release/ post-implementation Test Escape Analysis and identify the gaps.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 3-4 Years of experience in Quality Assurance.
- Minimum 2 Years of Automation Experience.
- Work experience with Core Java, Java Script and XML
- Basic CRUD operations in SQL is a must
- Knowledge on additional scripting language is desired.
- Knowledge of Data driven automation Architecture is an added advantage
- Familiarity with Agile framework.
- Working knowledge of Test Management software (e.g. Jira, HP Quality Center, Zephyr or Test Rail).
- Basic Commands on Unix/Linux.
