Job Description
Be part of a dynamic and global team working on and delivering solutions that run in the Cloud. The team will be investigating, understanding, building applications that can be deployed in a Multi Cloud context. Targeting optimization of software and networking infrastructure that runs in the public cloud for Enterprise, Edge and Telco use cases. Understand and use of Cloud Tools (Terraform, Vault, Packer, Hashicorp etc.)
to allow for automation of deployments of workloads and applications in the Cloud. The successful candidate will work on researching and analyzing new technologies from Networking, Benchmarking and Optimization, engaging with major customers to understand their priorities and use cases, providing input to technical direction, building and implementing prototypes to production software to deliver best-in-class applications and solutions for Intel Architecture (IA) processors.
The successful candidate will enjoy problem solving, prototyping, designing, and implementing solutions.Experience Experience investigating new technologies and sharing technical information with customers and stakeholders- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of an agile and global team- Experience understanding customer use cases and developing and executing proof of concept projects- Knowledge of C, C with strong development experience of Intel Architecture/x86 or other multi-core processor architecture- Strong problem-solving skills coupled with a strong aptitude to learn and innovate Desired- Experience building distributed applications- Experience of using Cloud Service Providers and Cloud tools and services based applications in Azure, AWS, GCP etc-
Linux development experience e.g. Device Drivers, Kernel, and Application development- Experience working with, influencing, and contributing to open source communities and open source projects-
Experience in networking and related protocols, e.g. Ethernet, IP Sec, TCP/IP, Switching and Routing- Experience with performance benchmarking and application optimization experience- Experience with agile development methodologies- Knowledge of Linux Kernel Networking and/or User Space Networking, Packet Processing e.g. DPDK, VPP
Masters or Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering- Minimum of 5-7 years software development experience with proven programming track record in industry
