Senior Project Manager - Mumbai - Calypso @ Calypso Technology

Responsibilities

• Daily management and leadership of the project and the project team. Provide effective leadership and management controls. Establish appropriate delivery methodologies. Manage the effective transition between project phases.

• Cascade vision and translation into delivery goals for the team. Identify and establish appropriate project controls. Manage performance and report progress to backers. They will have to be able to influence key decision-makers both internally and externally.

• Work together with the Calypso project team to establish and manage client expectations around project timelines. The project manager will be responsible for managing and communicating issues to the client and internal project teams. The Project Manager will be the first escalation level for project delivery issues and will report the progress of the implementation to our internal Project Steering Committee.

• Work directly with customers to review business / functional / technical requirements to ensure high-quality delivery of any configuration and / or custom code.

Requirements

• Experience acquired in Fintec (B2B) or financial services projects and resource management in the capital market.

• Experience working in systems or business analysis and systems design within these areas.

• Experience in implementing and supporting a front or back-office system within a bank, hedge fund, or asset manager.

• A solid, demonstrable record of customer service. The project manager will need to understand the clients needs and build effective relationships.

• Willingness and ability to travel as our deployments take place at our clients sites. (25-50%)

• Project management certification, which includes PMP and Agile, are preferred and considered a differentiator.
