Job Description
Dear Candidate,
Urgently we are hiring for Manager - Accounts & Finance for our Corporate Office - Goregaon Mumbai.
Roles and Responsibilities
Accounting operations
- Plan, implement and oversee overall accounting strategy
- Oversee daily accounting operations
- Monitor and analyse accounting data
- Manage the monthly financial close process, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries and account balance reconciliations
- Take responsibility for budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital asset reconciliation, fixed asset activity, debt activity etc.
- Adhere to proper accounting methods, policies and principles
- Ensure timely payments of utility bills and other periodic payments
- Prepare SOPs for a variety of activities in accounting department
Reporting
- Prepare monthly MIS - Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow
- Prepare annual and quarterly budgets
- Prepare financial analysis - budgeted vs actual, financial ratios etc.
- oversee annual audits
Team management
- Set up and monitor accounting KPIs
- Train new team members
Internal audit
- Oversee and lead monthly stock audit and reconciliation at factory
- Conduct internal audit to ensure compliance with SOPs across departments
Statutory compliance
- Calculation and return filing - TDS, PF, IT
- Collaborate with external auditors for GST calculation and return filling
- Ensure timely payments of statutory amounts, utility bills
- Conduct accounts finalisation for annual tax audit
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance
Banking operations
- Review and submit monthly stock statements
- Regularly liaison with bankers for smooth functioning of operations
- Coordinate with bankers for annual renewals and enhancement of Cash Credit limits
- Coordinate with bankers for new loans in case of any capacity expansion plans
Government subsidies
- Support external consultant for import, export, state and central government subsidies
Strategic projects
- Participate in strategic financial projects including implementation of ERP software.

Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
- Inter-CA preferred
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in accounting and minimum 5+ years experience at manager level
- Manufacturing company experience will be preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to become familiar with firm specific programs and software
- SAP & ERP experience will be preferred.
Candidate should be preferably from western line
