Cloud Automation Engineers - Pune - Deutsche @ Deutsche Bank

We are setting up our Cloud Center of Excellence to build best practices and automation first approach to drive cloud enabled transformation and support. Our Development function is part of Cloud COE that will build and integrate cloud services across all products and service groups. Automation is the core of the this function and the work involves designing, building and testing of Infrastructure as code on public and hybrid cloud including OS, database, network, backup and restore.

Your key responsibilities

• Defining technical requirements and writing functional documents based on business requirements.
• Involved in the planning, design, development and delivery of automation asset as a module lead.
• Work closely with the SRE teams, DevOps teams, Architecture team and development team to effectively deliver a highly available, robust, and flexible platform and automation content, leveraging tools to facilitate the software development process along with business requirements and objectives.
• Architect, design and implement a cloud compliance automation framework
• Experience presenting automated solutions to mid to senior level management.
• Provide mentorship to fellow team members on designing and developing cloud solutions
• Integrate the cloud services with components such as a CMDB, vendor-developed security products, and internally developed systems
• Lead the design and development of Integration framework
• Build infrastructure-based automation solutions that are platform independent.
• Design build Cloud Automation framework and present it to required stakeholders from Cloud Ops, Platform.
• Present the automation integration frameworks at the Architecture forums such as TIGA, CEF, CPDA and like
• Effectively work with cloud vendors and partners in stitching the solution together.

Your skills and experience

• Must have at least 15 years hands on experience in end to end development of Cloud Automation projects.
• Must be certified (associate or higher) from one or more of Hyperscalers - GCP, Azure and hands-on experience in developing solutions on these cloud providers
• VMWare, Terraform and scripting knowledge is a must.
• Exposure and good understanding in core tenants to be considered when designing, developing deploying to a Cloud.
• Good understanding on Software Defined Environments and Pattern Based deployments (say Ansible, Python, vRA/vRO).
• Experience creating Workflows - Business/Technical in VMware / BPM
• Strong skills on one or more of the above technologies along with knowledge on Monitoring tools, service management tools, integration patterns (API, Messaging) with an ability to quickly build and demonstrate Proof of Concepts and Proof of Technologies and contribute to Technology Innovation and Automation projects.
• Ability to work under pressure and be part of a multicultural team.
