Job Description : Role Proficiency: Enables teams to empathise define model design prototype and test innovative product or service interfaces and interactions that delivers an exceptional customer experience. This is a multifaceted role that involves working collaboratively with user researchers product management and technology members of the agile product development teams with some guidance from Specialist I. Outcomes:
Perform customer research contextual enquiry market research and product benchmarking brand insights etc. Develop personas customer journeys and design guidelines
Lead development of user personas based on customer research findings and integrate personas within deliverables such as customer journeys empathy maps opportunity maps etc.
Supports development and coding of low-fidelity and high-fidelity mock-ups and interactive prototypes MVP beta and production-ready applications by designing user interface elements UX specifications and design systems and standards
Drive the development of intended customer journeys that describe key aspects of a proposed experience and how it resolves customer hassles and pain points
Lead creation of compelling visual representation of the solutions with intuitive interaction navigation and organization design i.e. concept models
Lead participatory design user testing sessions and present findings and recommendations to cross functional teams and business stakeholders
Responsible for the definition of product features through high-touch user research methods and techniques
Practice design alongside multidisciplinary teams including product engineers product managers and business stakeholders and other designers
Consideration of processes and practices with regards to user research design and usability studies
Work with product teams in planning and execution of new product releases
Guides and mentors a team of designers ensuring high quality design output
Ensure career progression for Lead I Product Designers via focused mentoring and grooming.
Set OKRs and success steps for self/ team and also provide feedback of goals to team members

Participate in ongoing design reviews and iterations
Lead and participate in user research initiatives with research teams to understand customer problems identify and iterate on solutions.
Work closely with product management in UX ideation and innovation.
Own and drive product specifications creating mock-ups prototypes and designing fully functional products
Design to deliver great customer experience:
Design delightful customer experiences throughout the touchpoints of customer journey
Define user experience (e.g. wireframing customer journey maps service blueprints) partnering with product managers and business stakeholders
Provide support to define great user stories by capturing and translating customer stories into product features that deliver value and delight to users

Understand users the marketplace the competition and future trends for the domain or type of system being developed through customer and market research competitive analysis by rapidly acquiring domain expertise
