Organization: My MNC client is a manufacturer and Exporter of components & hydraulics for railways and Elevator Industry.
Designation: International Welding Engineer (IWE) / Welding Coordinator
Job Location: Bangalore.
Experience: 4 t o 9 years
Gender :Male.
Job Responsibilities:
- To act as welding coordinator at a comprehensive level, in line with ISO 14731, of welding and related activities within the company, associated subcontractors and certification bodies in compliance with application standards for the product type, including EN 1090 and ISO 3834-2 as a minimum requirement.
Person Specification.
- Experienced in working with standards related to welding of steels, procedure qualifications, welder certification and NDT; ISO and EN standards
- Proven practical background in visual weld and documentation quality control inspections of steel welded fabrications or vessels of high safety relevance.
Skills:
- Good understanding of and ability to interpret various ISO and EN standards.
- A familiarity with equivalent ASME (i.e. AWS D1.1, ASME IX, ASNT SNT-TC-1A, CSA W59, W47.1 etc.), local / Indian and other national and international standards.
Education and Qualifications:
- Technical qualifications and education equivalent to comprehensive IWE (International Welding Engineer) Level required, full certification as IWE preferred.
- Current certificates of welding inspection or in NDT methods would be advantageous, also to a senior level.
