Job Description
Job TitleSr. Backend EngineerExperience+7 Years
Roles & Responsibility-Work with Middleware delivery team and Solution Architect to support validating the releases and implemented solutions
-Code review of the new/existing API releases
-Work on POCs when required
-Validate the API changes and BE changes to support API delivery successful and within agreed KPIs
-Maintain both workable and non-workable API list and review Periodically with Solution Architect
-Proactive communication and highlight risk in case of any issue/concern in the Middleware
-Daily/Periodic Middleware system review and share report on the agreed metrics and KPIs
-Part of daily stand-up and review with solution architect
-Work on API Security, Load testing and Performance activities
-Work extensively on high-scale, low-latency systems
-Participation/Contribution in Agile Process and Delivery
-Owning and Accountability of Middleware code quality and Optimization Readiness
Skills Must Have-Bachelor/BTech/MCA in Computer Science with 7+ years of relevant experience
-3+ years of experience on highly scalable backend/Middleware system development
-Minimum 5+ years of hands on experience on backend technology like NodeJS, Express, DynamoDB, MongoDB, MySQL, MSSQL, Apache, Nginix, NPM, Redis
-Hands on experience on AWS Cloud Hosting Services like EC2, Load balancer, CloudWatch, Elasticsearch, SQS, ElastiCache, CloudFront, Docker, Container, SNS etc.
-SQS/Kafka, SNS and Webhooks
-Hands on Expertise in REST API workflow, development, integration & security
-Worked on Asynchronous API Workflow
-Knowledge in WebSocket/Socket driven workflow
-Experience in any Load Testing tool
-Experience in API Monitoring and Logging
-Strong Problem Solving and Analytical skill
-Strong knowledge in third-party system API integration
-Knowledge in object-oriented design pattern
-Knowledge in version controlling (GIT/SVN)
Preferred Skills-Strong communication skills
-Quick learning and adoption quality
-Ready to work in challenging and strict timeline
-Self-motivated and working in a team
-Understating of Full stack development
-Knowledge in Agile development practices (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
-Deployment practices using Jenkin, Maven etc.
-Proven track record of building scalable and reliable services on Cloud
